Ready Mix Concrete Oxshott
We produce ready mixed concrete, combining the desired type of cement, other cement materials (described below), sand, gravel and crushed stone with water and usually one or more admixtures. These admixtures, such as chemicals, minerals and fibers, determine the suitability of the product for specific applications. We often use various mineral additives as cement additives, which we define as cementitious materials in order to change the permeability, strength and other properties of concrete. These materials include fly ash, ground granulated blast furnace slag, silica dust and other natural pozzolans. These materials also reduce the amount of cement used, which reduces CO 2 emissions. We also use other materials such as steel, fiberglass, synthetic and carbon fibers as additives in various concrete formulas. The fibers help control shrinkage cracking, thereby reducing permeability and increasing abrasion resistance. In many applications, fibers can replace welded steel wire and reinforcing bars. We believe that we can achieve a diversity of products for the mixes we offer, due to the variety of mixes that we can produce, our production capacity in terms of production volume and the reliability of scheduling, delivery and placement. In addition, we believe that our EF Technology® initiative, which uses alternative materials and mixed projects that result in lower CO 2 emissions, helps us to distinguish us from the competition. We also believe that we stand out with a value-added approach that emphasizes the reduction of the total cost of building our clients by reducing the cost of concrete on site and the time needed for construction. By carefully designing the right mixes and using advances in mixing technology, we can help our clients reduce the amount of reinforcing steel, time and labor they need in a variety of applications. We provide various services related to our sales of ready-made concrete mixtures, which can help reduce the cost of concrete on the spot of our clients. These services include: Production of preparations and alternative product recommendations that reduce labor and material costs. Quality control, through automated production and laboratory testing, which ensures consistent results and minimizes the need to correct completed work. Automated planning and tracking systems that ensure timely delivery and reduce downtime for the crew involved in placing and finishing the customer.
