We produce ready mixed concrete, combining the desired type of cement, other cement materials (described below), sand, gravel and crushed stone with water and usually one or more admixtures. These admixtures, such as chemicals, minerals and fibers, determine the suitability of the product for specific applications. We often use various mineral additives as cement additives, which we define as cementitious materials in order to change the permeability, strength and other properties of concrete. These materials include fly ash, ground granulated blast furnace slag, silica dust and other natural pozzolans. These materials also reduce the amount of cement used, which reduces CO 2 emissions.
